Project Goal
The Gazam Real Estate App project aimed to create a user-friendly platform for property transactions, catering to buyers, sellers, and renters. Key objectives included:
- User-Centric Design: Developed an intuitive interface for easy onboarding and smooth user experience on both mobile and web platforms.
- Robust Property Listings: Enabled detailed property searches by location, type (land/plots, residential, commercial, agricultural), and purpose (buy, rent, lease). Added a section for new projects to highlight large ventures.
- Advanced Search and Filtering: Integrated filters and sort options to help users find and organize listings based on specific criteria.
- Comprehensive Property Details: Provided detailed property pages with information on location, size, price, photos/videos, and amenities. Allowed users to save, shortlist, and track contacted properties.
- Efficient Seller Tools: Simplified property posting with steps for adding basic details, descriptions, pricing, and media. Verified listings through admin validation.
- Enhanced Buyer-Seller Interaction: Enabled in-app messaging and calls between buyers and sellers. Planned future features to limit buyer access to owner contacts for exclusivity.
- Admin Panel Development: Created an admin panel to manage users, properties, services, and notifications. Included features for adding users, verifying sellers, and approving property listings.
- Highlighting Key USPs: Prioritized specialized NRI services and agricultural field selling and listing, offering tailored solutions for these key areas.
- Scalability and Future Enhancements: Designed for scalability with plans for future improvements based on user feedback and market needs.
Problem Statement & Challenges
The primary challenge was to develop a comprehensive real estate platform that could cater to a diverse user base including buyers, sellers, and renters. The goal was to create a seamless experience for property transactions while addressing specific market needs such as the sale and listing of agricultural fields and providing specialized services for NRIs. The platform needed to offer advanced search capabilities, detailed property information, and robust admin tools for managing listings and user interactions.

Design Process
For all our projects, we consistently apply the Double Diamond process. This methodology helps us define clear objectives and enables the team to create designs that cater to both the client and user needs.
Initially, we conducted a thorough analysis of our competitors, performed market research, created user personas, and mapped out scenarios. This allowed us to gain insights into the current market dynamics, understand the strategies of industry leaders, and identify key features that are being emphasized. By leveraging this information, we were able to incorporate successful elements into our design and develop a unique product.
